Gift Baskets!
The State Gift Basket exchange started 2007 and has become a tradition at the National DOG that many enjoy. Folks who participate will bring a basket with items that represent their state or local area and may also include items in the basket that are applicable to Dutch oven cooking. We will be participating this year and I have a good idea of what will be in our basket. Here are some ideas
* Cookie Cutter in the shape of Texas
* Tiny Cast Iron Trivet
* Pot Holders with Texas Bluebonnets (State Flower)
* Large Spoon with the Texas State Flag
One of my favorite Hallmark Stores has a section dedicated to fun cooking items and many reflect the Texas theme. I will have fun shopping to find more goodies for our Gift Basket! What will you be putting in your gift basket??
